Naomi's Place

Naomi's Place

Naomi's Place joins a lovely long-line of townhouse style structures modified from their original set designs by Kristel.
Have you guessed the original set?

Here is the original Heartlake Cupcake Cafe as reviewed by Kristel.

Friends Chess Pieces

LEGO Friends Chess
SuzEaton imparted subtle cues of LEGO Friends sets into these Friends Chess Pieces.

Riding School MOD

Friends sets are so completely detailed from the start, that sometimes all that's needed is a "tweak" or MOD (modification) to the original in order to make a new creation.

https://www.flickr.com/photos/86394332@N03/30096038865/

LegoOzp has done a nice job of using two sets with modifications to become one creation.  It's a creation, yet still identifiable of the original sets -- Summer Riding Camp (#3185 from the Summer of 2012) and Sunshine Ranch (#41039 from January 2014).  Built together within the landscape and activity of the base created to hold the structures, it gives us a glimpse of life in Heartlake City.
Another set, Emma's Horse Trailer (#3186, also from Summer 2012) fits in just right.

The creek along side the ranch and under the bridge really adds to the dimensions of this setting! Be inspired and enjoy many more angled views and close-ups in the Flickr set.

Winter Wonderland with Friends Animals

LEGO Friends animals have always been a special part of the theme, and this creation by Deborah Higdon illustrates just how friendly and expressive they are on display.
2016 - winter wonderland bookends

The classic winter snow-covered tree in a woodland setting surrounded by animals she built as bookends is a wonderful use for a peaceful scene.

MOC: The Horsemen Townsquare

[Denil-MOC]-The-Horsemen-Townsquare---1

Denil has created another intricately detailed scene with this MOC of Horsemen Town
Square -- whether it's fictional or really exists some where in the world,
it could easily be a part of Heartlake City.

[Denil-MOC]-The-Horsemen-Townsquare---17

Some of the buildings incorporate a bit of Friends sets' aspects blended into unique
designs -- while all flowing with the classic LEGO Friends style.

It's hard to decide which structure or scene on this huge creation is most appealing,
as each one has been tailored to a specific activity.

MOC: Friends in Time

Ever wonder what it was like in the early days of Heartlake City?
Friends in Time
Well, Matthew Hocker (-aka- Brickadier General) has built a recreation of an historical scene
for us to peruse and enjoy wonderful details!

Heartlake Supermarket & Cupcake Cafe Modular

https://www.flickr.com/photos/134354727@N08/24825478442/
Two new sets offering hangout spots with lots of foodie details have been combined into one modular MOC by Karen kjm161 using inspiration from both Heartlake Supermarket and Heartlake Cupcake Cafe.
https://www.flickr.com/photos/134354727@N08/24825584152/
The front entrance has lovely tiled sidewalk and enticing bread display in the curved display window.  These curvy windows have become very popular in Heartlake City building style.
https://www.flickr.com/photos/134354727@N08/24917313656/
With the roof taken off (since it is a modular building) you get to enjoy the Deli Counter with all the great pieces and elements in the LEGO food category.
https://www.flickr.com/photos/134354727@N08/24312835194/
The back side shows the stairs leading to the Cupcake Cafe above the market.  It's nice to see a 4-walled creation with a roof -- considering most Friends-style official sets have half-roofs and no back -- to allow for play access.
This MOC would fit well in any City layout and the details do make it somewhat playable -- or at least fun to move around the neat elements.  The back door sidewalk tile matches the front.  Although it's built for realism, the few whimsical touches ~ such as the Elves wind element seat cushion on the bench by the door, make it even more fun to view!

Heartlake High - with all the bells & whistles

This fan-created Heartlake High by carebear has every detail bricked-in ... from floors to lockers, and vending machines!
While retaining the look of set #41005 this fan creation was built with 32 versions of that set, along with 60 additional LEGO Friends sets.
Lots of activity, and use of roof space for outdoor time.  Notice the bike rack and Lamp posts.

The original 5 LEGO Friends: Mia, Emma, Stephanie, Olivia, and Andrea.

Nicole and Sophie tend to animals.  The basketball backboard shows the original Friends graphics.

See inside the top floor: Cafeteria, Library, and Music room.

With the Library module removed, you can see the center all with vending machines.

Up close view of the Cafeteria -- it looks like Mrs. Stevens is there today.

Here is a better view of the vending machines.  Stephanie has lots of choices.

See all the wonderful floor tiling in the Music Room, plus built-in cabinets.

The other side of the school.  This schoolyard looks very busy; good thing there's a fence with all those pets.

The bottom level reveals the Art room, Teacher's Lounge/Office, Restrooms, and Science classroom.

Art room for painting, photography and more -- with colorful floor tiles too.

Lockers in the center hall, near the ringing School Bell, along with water fountain and news bulletin board.

Olivia's favorite subject is Science -- this lab looks like a fun place to learn!

This colorful and whimsical shop has lots of face-painting supplies, capes & brooms to

complete her look, while helping Friends get ready for trick-or-treating.
